Pet One Group, doing business as Pet Pantry ("Pet Pantry," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the Pet Pantry website at ppwpet.com and our online store at shop.ppwpet.com (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy (this "Policy") explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use and share that information, and the choices available to you.
This Policy applies only to information collected through the Service. It does not apply to information collected in our retail stores or through other companies’ websites you may reach from links on the Service. Capitalized terms that are not defined in this Policy have the meanings given in our Terms of Service, available at https://shop.ppwpet.com/page/terms-conditions (the "Terms of Service").
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for adults, and you must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you give us directly when you create an account, place an order, fill out a form, or contact us. This includes:
- Contact and account information, such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and, if you create an account, your username and password.
- Order information, such as the products you purchase, the store you select, whether you choose pickup or local delivery, your delivery address and any delivery instructions, and your order history.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by the payment processor integrated with our online store. We do not store your full payment card number on our own systems.
- Communications, such as records and copies of your correspondence with us and information you submit through forms on the Service, such as contact or newsletter sign-up forms.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Service, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (described below). This includes:
- Device and browser information, such as your browser type, operating system, device type, and IP address.
- Usage information, such as the pages you view, links you click, searches you perform on the Service, the website you visited before coming to the Service, and the dates and times of your visits.

- Understand how visitors use the Service so we can maintain and improve it.

- Carry out any other purpose we describe when you provide the information, or with your consent.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used.
Our website (ppwpet.com). Our main website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace uses cookies that are necessary to deliver the website securely, and it also collects information on our behalf to provide us with site analytics. This information includes details about your browser, network, and device, the pages you visited before coming to the website, the pages you view on the website, and your IP address. Our online store (shop.ppwpet.com). Our online store runs on the Franpos e-commerce platform. Franpos uses cookies and similar technologies that are needed for the store to work, such as keeping items in your shopping cart, remembering the store you selected, and keeping you signed in to your account.
Emails. Our emails may contain small image files, sometimes called web beacons or pixel tags, that tell us whether an email was opened. This helps us understand which messages are useful to our customers.
Your choices. You can set your browser to refuse some or all cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being set. If you block cookies, some parts of the Service, such as the shopping cart and checkout, may not work properly.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to these signals, the Service does not currently respond to them.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share your information only as described below:
- Service providers. We share information with companies that help us run our business, including Squarespace (website hosting and analytics), Franpos (our e-commerce platform and payment processing), and providers that help us send emails. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us and are required to keep it confidential.
- Delivery partners. If you choose local delivery, we share your name, delivery address, phone number, and any delivery instructions with Uber Direct, the delivery service that arranges a courier for your order. Uber uses this information to complete your delivery and may send you text messages with delivery status and a tracking link. Couriers may take a photo at drop-off or collect a signature as proof of delivery. Uber’s handling of your information is also governed by Uber’s own privacy notice.
- Our stores and affiliates. We share order information with the Pet Pantry store you select so it can prepare your order, and with our affiliated companies as needed to operate our business.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of some or all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information to comply with a law, court order, or legal process; to respond to lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities; to enforce our Terms of Service; to protect against fraud; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pet Pantry, our customers, or others.
- With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose with your consent.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Your Choices
- Account information. You can review and update your account information at any time by signing in to your account on our online store.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us to provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@ppwpet.com. Deleting certain information may require closing your account. We may keep some information when we are required to by law or need it for legitimate business purposes, such as completing a transaction or maintaining financial records.
- Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any promotional email. We will still send you messages related to your orders and account.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. You also play a role in keeping your information safe: please keep your account password confidential and do not share it with anyone.
No method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes. These include completing transactions, maintaining accurate business and financial records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. When we no longer need the information, we delete it or de-identify it.

The Service may contain links to websites operated by other companies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
